ORDER PROCESS
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been successfully placed. Please make sure your shipping address is correct as we are unable to redirect goods once they are en route to you. Once your order is prepared for shipment you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking information.
Duties and Taxes - Taxes are calculated according to shipping destination and itemized on the Order Summary page. For international shipments, please note that you are responsible for any additional import taxes and duties upon delivery.
QUOTED DELIVERY FEES
The GDG team will do its best to quote for delivery fees (air freight) at time of purchase, however these carrier quotations may change over time. GDG is not responsible for any price changes or any delays initiated/caused by a 3rd party international carrier (i.e. UPS, Fed Ex, etc.) between the time of purchase and the actual shipping. Should our initial delivery quote be subject to any carrier increase, our team will inform our client of said changes. GDG will offer our client the possibility of accepting these additional delivery fees and moving ahead with the delivery OR of cancelling the order all together.
QUOTED LEAD TIME
GREEN DESIGN GALLERY'S suppliers quote an approximate lead time for the receipt of your order, based on current manufacturing and shipping times at time of purchase. Circumstances beyond our control, such as COVID-19, may cause disruptions and lead to a delay in your order being delivered on quoted ETA [estimated time of delivery]. Deliveries can be delayed due to changes in shipping schedules, carrier delays and world-wide raw material shortages. Delays do not constitute a breach of contract. GREEN DESIGN GALLERY and its suppliers do not offer cancellations or refunds due to delays. GREEN DESIGN GALLERY and its suppliers hold no liability for any delays resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control or for any losses incurred as a result of any delays or force majeure of the purchaser.
DIRECTLY FROM THE DESIGNER / SUPPLIER
All pieces ship directly from our makers’ workshops. That way, we avoid any unnecessary 3rd party involvement, which would increase time delays, and logistical costs. Delivery times may vary but GDG will keep you availed of your product's progress toward its destination. Because the pieces we offer are high-end quality and most are made-to-order, delivery time varies from 2 to 20 weeks or beyond. Please inquire prior to ordering and refer to each product page for a more detailed delivery schedule as each product may have a different lead time. GDG is not responsible for any delays including but not limited to order processing, product availability and order delivery (see Return Policy and Disclaimer). For oversized items and shipping to specific or remote destination, we reserve the right to add a special shipping rate. In this case, we will always contact the customer before processing the order.
DELIVERY BY MARITIME FREIGHT
By default, our GDG suppliers ship by national courier, via maritime freight - which is the most sustainable international shipping method. Should you have specific needs, other methods of domestic and international shipping are also available (air, white glove, express, etc.) for an additional fee.
FOB ORIGIN
All GDG orders are FOB ORIGIN = The client is the owner of the product as soon as it leaves the point of origin (product supplier). The client is therefore responsible for any damages incurred during transport. All GDG orders are insured. It is the client's responsibility to claim the insurance in case of transport damage.

Return Policy & Disclaimer
Returns
We work hard to offer you the best quality products possible. Due to their made-to-order and one-of-a-kind product nature, Green Design Gallery orders are not eligible for any returns or refunds, unless a GDG's supplier shipped the wrong product (an incorrect product was shipped by error by the supplier), in which case the supplier is be responsible to exchange said product for the correct one (see details below). In this case, Green Design Gallery will assist said supplier and client liaising the relevant information between the two - please note that Green Design Gallery is not responsible for the time taken by this exchange as it is out of Green Design Gallery's control.
Transport Damages
All GDG orders are FOB ORIGIN = The GDG client is the owner of the product as soon as it leaves the point of origin (product supplier). Green Design Gallery suppliers inspect their products and cartons prior to dispatch to ensure all products leave their warehouses in the best possible condition. Neither Green Design Gallery nor its suppliers are a carrier and the damages incurred in transport are not the fault or responsibility of Green Design Gallery and its suppliers. All our supplier's deliveries include an insurance; it is the client's responsibility to claim that insurance (please note that all products should be inspected immediately upon arrival with any damages noted on the delivery paperwork).
Exchanges
Unless the item received is the wrong product (an incorrect product was shipped by error by the supplier), Green Design Gallery does not accept exchanges, including change of mind purchases. Items received damaged will not be accepted for returns or exchanges (see Returns).

- GREEN DESIGN GALLERY IS NOT A CARRIER AND THEREFORE ANY TRANSPORT DAMAGES OR DELIVERY DELAYS OR DELIVERY ERRORS (DELIVERY MIX UPS) INCURRED BY THE CARRIER BEFORE OR DURING TRANSPORT ARE NOT THE FAULT OR RESPONSIBILITY OF GREEN DESIGN GALLERY OR ITS SUPPLIERS.

- ALL INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES INCLUDE AN INSURANCE. SHOULD A PRODUCT ARRIVE DAMAGED, IT IS UP TO DE CLIENT TO CLAIM THE SHIPPING INSURANCE. GREEN DESIGN GALLERY WILL BE HAPPY TO ASSIST OUR CLIENTS BY PROVIDING RELEVANT INFORMATION NECESSARY TO INSURANCE CLAIMS.
- SUPPLIER AND/OR TRANSPORT DELAYS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A BREACH OF CONTRACT. NEITHER OUR SUPPLIERS NOR GREEN DESIGN GALLERY OFFER CANCELLATIONS OR REFUNDS DUE TO ORDER PROCESSING, PRODUCT AVAILABILITY OR TRANSPORT DELAYS. GREEN DESIGN GALLERY AND ITS SUPPLIERS HOLD NO LIABILITY FOR ANY DELAYS RESULTING FROM CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL OR FOR ANY LOSSES INCURRED AS A RESULT OF ANY DELAYS OR FORCE MAJEURE.
- SHOULD THE CLIENT REQUEST TO CANCEL AN ORDER THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR, THERE WILL BE A 15% RESTOCKING FEE DEDUCTED FROM THE FINAL REFUND.
- YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR HAVING READ AND ACCEPTED OUR POLICIES PRIOR TO ORDERING.
