We decided to face the threat of biodiversity and help to protect endangered animals through sustainable design. Each design in the Jungle Collection represents a unique animal, and 10% of the sales from each rug sold goes to a charity organisation working to protect this animal.

The Gorilla rug is made of bamboo silk, and has a thick layer of bamboo silk giving it a velvet impression, that is incredibly comfortable to walk across. The Gorilla rug is a bold design statement. In a discreet black with steel grey gorilla motif, it brings a finishing touch to any contemporary space. Put it in the hallway or the entré and watch as the next art connoisseur entering your home tries to explain it in a way too complicated way.

At present there are less than 1.200 Mountain Gorillas left in the world, and fewer then 300 Cross River gorillas. We support The Gorilla Organization, with donations, assisting in their mission to ensure a safe future for the gorillas in Africa.

Sustainability
The bamboo silk collections are made of the natural plant bamboo. The bamboo is processed into a soft silk-like fiber that feels almost exactly like silk, hence the name. The backside of the rug, is made from 100% recycled cotton and is attached with natural latex.
