BAMBOO SILK RUG / JUNGLE PARROT / 10% TO ANIMAL PROTECTION CHARITY

We decided to face the threat of biodiversity and help to protect endangered animals through sustainable design. Each design in the Jungle Collection represents a unique animal, and 10% of the sales from each rug sold goes to a charity organisation working to protect this animal.

The Parrot rug is made of bamboo silk, and has a thick layer of bamboo silk giving it a velvet impression, that is incredibly comfortable to walk across. Bring home a piece of the rainforest, while saving a piece of it. The Parrot rug brings an elegant calm serenity to the room, put it in the office, next to the bed or if you’re feeling bold, hang it on the wall.

The rainforest is home to half of the world’s animal species including the parrot, and one of the most incredible places on earth. To support the rainforest, we will donate 10 percent of the sales price from every Parrot rug sold towards selected projects fighting for a sustainable future for the rainforest.

Sustainability
The bamboo silk collections are made of the natural plant bamboo. The bamboo is processed into a soft silk-like fiber that feels almost exactly like silk, hence the name. The backside of the rug, is made from 100% recycled cotton and is attached with natural latex.
